Template for Churches working with Refugees -- this is a helpful manual that is designed to guide churches in the process of meaningfully engaging in refugee ministry. There is a longer version and also a short (couple page) one.

The Seven Commands of Christ -- is a short booklet designed to teach basic Biblical truths to new believers and seekers. I don't find it especially strong theologically, but most of the booklet can be helpful. I'm attaching both English and Nepali versions.

I'm attaching now two Christian training manuals that I have not reviewed. One is called Acts 29 (Bruce Carlton) and the other is an Advanced Discipleship Training course that was sent my way by Cynthia Hale. Both resources are in Nepali.

The article posted here http://causeup.ning.com/notes/Napali_Culture_From_a_Western_Mindset is more about Nepali citizen culture rather than Bhutanese-Nepali culture. Some of what is written there doesn't hold true. In particular among the younger generations, dress is not often all that conservative.

Further, the whole issue of physical touch is much less conservative that what that article indicates. Men and women do indeed make physical contact in public, sometimes frequently. Hugging and kissing are not common, but handholding between friends from opposite genders is considered okay for friends and siblings. As is sleeping in the same room, cuddling, etc. The Bhutanese-Nepali view on physical contact is thus vastly different than the Nepal-Nepali view (it would seem).

The two daily meal item also doesn't hold true for the Bhutanese-Nepalis. They mostly eat three meals.
