I'm an RN in Creston BC, Canada. What is the status on commercial flights in and out of Haiti? I work for Kiewit construction and have some flexibility with my schedule. What are the roadblocks to getting non military medical people to Haiti now? Lots of the work to come is going to be nursing, dressing changes, rehab, infection control. I've been to South African and Central America and the sooner we get there the more impactful we will be.

I'm an RN in Dallas, Tx. My background is in critical care at a level 1 truama center here in Dallas (Parkland). I've had truama training and have worked with burn patients. I grew up in CA and remember the '89 quake like it was yesterday. The last two years I spend as a nurse educator which included training medical staff regarding best practice. I quite in nov. to start sart school getting my MPH so right now I'm free to go to whenever for as long as needed.
