CauseUP for Project Management

I've been working on CauseUP since it's beginning. CauseUP uses a "niche" social network platform called Ning. Here are my thoughts about how Ning can work for your projects.

I’ve used Basecamp and have tried a couple other options for project management, but have realized a completely different option for project management. I now use Ning for a number of reasons.

Ning was not designed to be a project management tool. It is a DIY social network, giving anybody the ability to… Continue

Oh!  No worries!  You guys have a fantastic logo, I'm not crying plagerism here. ;-)  I designed more of a T-Shirt logo with several smiling faces for a business identifying themselves as "CauseUP" and I've been trying to track them down so that I can cite it on my resume. ;-)

Thanks for the quick response!

Hello!  I'm wondering if this "CauseUP" is the same that I designed a LOGO for on LogoGuru/Mycroburst as Rikki Rogers Design?  If it is, I would love to be a part of this effort... and I'm not sure how to site it on my design resume, either. ;-) Let me know!  Thanks!

Hello Andrew,

In my searching for ways to do what I can for the Haitian earthquake victims I was led to your site on Cause Up and became curious as to what your service for immigrant does. I support the United Farmworkers and have done volunteer work with them in the past. I have also been on mission with Los Medicos Voladores to northern Mexico. I live in Modesto, California and have been looking for work here and would like to find work that serves the poor and alienated. If there is any way that my desire serves the interest of your site feel free to contact me. In His service, Victoria

Namaskar Andrew! I am excited to learn more about this site when i have blips of time to do so!;-) And I would like to talk to you more about a Nepali former client/friend of mine who is the process of developing a site similar to yours just for the Nepali community. This site so far seems to be a networker b/w those who work with Nepalis, correct? I am really interested to learn more about it. Dynabhat! ***Jenn

Hi Andy! Things have finally slowed down a bit with some of the projects I was juggling. Now I can just focus on newly arrived families. Would you still like to talk on the phone about CauseUp? I have started to look around more and I have to say the resources page is my favorite! Let me know if there is a good time to talk. Thanks for all your hard work on this excellent site!

Thanks, Andy. Indeed, my hands are quite full, but so content with the work. Your wee one is quite cute -- he looks energetic ;)

Hi Andy, we're excited about this resource! However, we tried to create a Minneapolis/St. Paul group and we got the error message "yikes." Maybe it doesn't like our city :)
